What do you think of my character description? Suggestions?

This sounds like an outline for a story or book, very factual but all of it, including character description, has to be fleshed out and life breathed into it. I don't like the name Tuscany because it sounds too romantic. How about a regular person's name? I hope you don't make her beautiful, because this story is about real life and could be very good. What kind of a person is she? Is she sweet and kind but suffering? Is she afraid, defensive? Is she sensitive? How does her suffering feel? This is the kind of story that is timely and important to our culture. Good idea.
