My husband suddenly dnt want me!?

please help, after 4 yrs of marraige my husband has been very quiet in the past while. i couldnt stand the tension anymore and i asked him straight out what was wrong, knowing we had our differences in the past, and communication problems has always been a big issue so we seeked counselling for help, and he promised me so many times he will change and always want to be with me. now he tells me that hes not happy and that we are both totally different people. thats all he said as he is a coward to actually end it all or face facts. i havent changed in any way as far as i know apart from loosing my job, but i always keep a brave face on esp for my children. can anyone tell me what is his problem as my head has been messed around too much by him, i cant take it. i love him dearly, he said theres no one else involved, but wot exactly does this mean?
