I'm an adult whos been basically disowned and yet still invited to family functions...but ignored..?

I feel your pain. I am disowned and invited too. I always wonder why I'm invited? No one want me, my wife, of kids there. Same as you, no acknowledgement, conversation, and always criticized if we do speak. My kids are ignored but my sisters kids are awesome, pics of them everywhere, 1or 2 of us around the house, and I'm the oldest!! We are married 17 years Wednesday with 4 kids. We have gone our own way. Like others said here, make your own family!! We surround ourselves with the people we love and LOVE US BACK!!! Picking a family is better than being in one that doesn't want you just because you're blood. It hurts, I know. God do I know.
