Baby coming with no family around?

I will be in that situation too! My husband is military and we have a baby on the way. If I need someone to watch the baby it will be hard because I don't know anyone in this area that we just moved to! But I recently left my babysitting job of 6 months (due to my pregnancy). Have you heard of www.care.com or www.sittercity.com? I actually signed up on the those websites to find my babysitting jobs. The websites are pretty legit. They show babysitters in your area with pictures, availability, backround ect. I know if I needed someone I would have no problem resorting to these. You can set up interviews and they have to provide references. You could always have them start out for a couple days when your still around too to keep an eye on them. You should check them out!
